F01034 — Units changeover: Calculation parameter values after reference value change

F01034 is raised during the units changeover: a reference parameter was changed, and the drive then attempted to re-calculate the affected parameters in the per-unit representation. For one of the parameters involved this was not possible with the value that had been selected, so the drive rejected the change and restored the original parameter value. The manuals print the fault as Units changeover: Calculation parameter values after reference value change; several converter families title the same condition with the addition “unsuccessful”. The fault value in r0949 names the parameter concerned.

• A reference parameter was changed, and for one of the parameters involved the selected value could not be re-calculated in the per-unit representation.
• The change was rejected and the original parameter value was restored.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 — it contains the number of the parameter whose value was not able to be re-calculated.
2. Select the value of the reference parameter so that this parameter can be re-calculated in the per-unit representation.
3. Before changing the reference parameter p0596, set the technology unit selection p0595 = 1.

• r0949 holds the fault value: Parameter whose value was not able to be re-calculated. The message value Parameter: %1 shows the same — the drive inserts the number of the affected parameter for the placeholder.
• The parameters the drive re-calculates in the per-unit notation after a reference change are p0304, p0305, p0310, p0596, p2000, p2001, p2002, p2003 and r2004; the fault value names the one that failed.

• r0949 — fault value; read here which parameter could not be re-calculated.
• p0595 — technology unit selection; set p0595 = 1 before changing the reference parameter p0596.
• p0596 — technological unit reference quantity; the change of this reference parameter triggers the re-calculation.
• p0304 — rated motor voltage; one of the parameters re-calculated in the per-unit notation.
• p0305 — rated motor current; likewise re-calculated in per-unit notation when a reference parameter changes.
• p0310 — cylinder piston diameter; belongs to the same set of re-calculated parameters.
• p2000 — reference velocity; re-calculated in the per-unit representation.
• p2001 — reference voltage; re-calculated together with the other reference quantities.
• p2002 — reference pressure; involved in the per-unit re-calculation.
• p2003 — reference force; involved in the per-unit re-calculation.
• r2004 — reference power; involved in the per-unit re-calculation.

The drive itself rolls the failed change back — the original parameter value is restored — and takes no automatic reaction beyond reporting the fault. Acknowledge the fault immediately. Once the reference parameter is selected so that the affected parameter can be re-calculated in the per-unit representation, and p0595 is set to 1 before p0596 is changed, the units changeover can be repeated.
