What it means
F06310 tells you that the supply voltage the drive really measures does not agree with the value parameterized in p0210. The comparison is made once precharging has completed, and the tolerance window depends on the unit:
- On the infeed, the line supply voltage Vrms is calculated from the measured DC link voltage; it must satisfy 85 % * p0210 < Vrms < 110 % * p0210.
- On AC/AC drive units, the measured DC voltage is used; it must satisfy 1.16 * p0210 < r0070 < 1.6 * p0210.
The manuals also list this condition as an alarm (A); which form the drive raises depends on its configuration.
Why it appears
- The supply voltage parameterized in p0210 does not match the voltage actually applied to the unit.
- The line supply voltage present at the input lies outside the window the drive expects around p0210 once precharging has finished.
What to check
- Read p0210 and compare the set value with the supply voltage really applied to the unit; if the parameterization is wrong, change p0210.
- Check the line supply voltage that is actually present — this is the quantity the drive compared against p0210 after precharging.
Reading the message value
- On the infeed, the fault value is stored in r0949 as a floating point and contains the line supply voltage Vrms present; the message text shows it in place of %1 as 'Line supply voltage: …'.
- The descriptions for AC/AC drive units print no message value for this code.
Parameters the manual names
- p0210 — the line supply voltage expected for this drive unit; compare its set value with the real supply and correct it where the two disagree.
- r0949 — the fault value; on the infeed it holds the line supply voltage Vrms determined after precharging, given as floating point.
- r0070 — on AC/AC drive units this is the measured DC voltage against which the tolerance check runs; it must lie between 1.16 * p0210 and 1.6 * p0210.
Acknowledging and restarting
Acknowledge by POWER ON: switch the supply off and back on. For AC/AC drive units the manual states this explicitly: The fault can only be acknowledged when the drive is switched off.
If p0210 and the line voltage now match, the check after the next precharging will no longer raise the code.
What differs between the drive families
Straight from the manuals' own fields — F06310 is not described identically everywhere.

Questions technicians ask
What does fault F06310 mean on a SINAMICS drive?
After precharging, the measured supply does not lie inside the tolerance window of p0210: on the infeed 85 % * p0210 < Vrms < 110 % * p0210, calculated from the DC link voltage; on AC/AC drive units 1.16 * p0210 < r0070 < 1.6 * p0210.
How do I clear F06310?
Check the supply voltage set in p0210 and change it if it does not match the real supply, then check the line supply voltage itself. Afterwards acknowledge by switching the supply off and on (POWER ON).
Why will F06310 not acknowledge?
On AC/AC drive units the fault can only be acknowledged when the drive is switched off. Switch the supply off and back on to acknowledge it.
Which voltage does F06310 report?
On the infeed, r0949 contains the line supply voltage Vrms that was present, stored as floating point and shown in the message text after 'Line supply voltage:'.
