F06300Infeed: Line voltage too high at power on

What it means

Infeed: Line voltage too high at power on: the infeed has found the line supply voltage too high at the moment it was switched on. At power on, the RMS line supply voltage (Vrms) is so high that controlled operation is not possible without exceeding the permissible maximum voltage in the DC link (p0280); the drive raises the fault when Vrms * 1.5 > p0280.

In response, the drive goes to the OFF2 state — it blocks immediately — and the fault must be acknowledged before the drive will restart.

Why it appears

  • The RMS line supply voltage (Vrms) connected when switching on was so high that controlled operation is not possible without exceeding the permissible maximum voltage in the DC link (p0280).
  • The drive triggers the fault when 1.5 times the RMS line supply voltage exceeds the value of p0280.

What to check

  1. Check the line supply voltage.
  2. Check the maximum DC link voltage (p0280) and, if required, increase it.
  3. Check the line supply voltage and compare it with the line supply voltage set in the drive (p0210).
  4. Check whether the power unit is dimensioned for the line supply voltage actually being used.
