It is not a call to action: the manual's remedy is that none is necessary, because the alarm withdraws by itself once the routine has been completed or deactivated. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be output with no reaction (N).
Why it appears
- The motor data identification routine is activated; it is carried out at the next switch-on command (ON).
- If rotating measurement is selected (see p1900, p1960), it will not be possible to save the parameter assignment until the motor data identification has been completed or deactivated. The manual prints this for the VECTOR and VECTOR_G drive objects and for G120.
- On the HLA drive object the entry carries the title Drive: Data identification activated: data identification is activated and performed at the next switch-on command, and the manual warns
When doing this, the drive moves.
What to check
- Do nothing beyond letting the routine run: the manual states the remedy is not necessary, and the alarm automatically disappears once the motor data identification has been completed successfully.
- If you want to abort the identification instead, deactivate it with p1900 = 0; for the SERVO and HLA drive objects the manual names p1910 = 0 or p1960 = 0 as the settings that withdraw the alarm.
- Heed the warning the manual adds for the SERVO and HLA drive objects: if a POWER ON or a warm restart is performed while motor data identification is selected, the identification request is lost, and if identification is still required it must be selected again manually after ramp-up.
Parameters the manual names
- p1900 — Motor data identification and rotating measurement: use it to select the identification; with rotating measurement selected the parameter assignment cannot be saved, and p1900 = 0 deactivates the identification so the alarm clears.
- p1910 — Motor data identification selection: named for the SERVO and HLA drive objects, where p1910 = 0 is one of the settings that ends the alarm.
- p1960 — Rotating measurement selection: named together with p1900 wherever rotating measurement is selected, and on the SERVO and HLA drive objects as the alternative setting p1960 = 0 that withdraws the alarm.
Acknowledging and restarting
No acknowledgement is required. The alarm is withdrawn automatically when the motor data identification (data identification on the HLA drive object) has been completed successfully, or when you deactivate the selection — p1900 = 0, or p1910 = 0 / p1960 = 0 for the SERVO and HLA drive objects. Note that a POWER ON or a warm restart performed with identification selected discards the request, so the identification would then have to be selected again manually after ramp-up.
