What it means
A07994 appears when vector control has been selected but the motor data identification has still not been performed for the drive data set that is currently active. On the G120 the alarm is also raised when the application class Standard Drive Control, STC
(p0096 = 1) has been selected without a motor data identification.
The drive checks the condition when the drive data set is changed (see r0051). The manuals also note that a check is made — and the alarm output — when commissioning is exited and when the drive powers up (the S120/S150 manual words this as when the system runs up). Depending on the drive configuration, the same condition can also be issued as a fault (F) or as a message without reaction (N).
Why it appears
- Vector control has been selected — p1300 >= 20 in the currently active drive data set — while motor data identification has still not been performed for that data set; r3925 shows the identification status.
- The alarm is initiated when the drive data set is changed (see r0051) if both conditions apply to the data set being activated.
- On the G120: the application class

What to check
- Perform the motor data identification for the affected drive data set (p1900).

- Alternatively, switch over to a drive data set in which the conditions do not apply.

Acknowledging and restarting
As an alarm, A07994 has no effect on the drive's operation and needs no acknowledgement: it clears itself once the condition no longer applies — after the motor data identification (p1900), after switching to U/f control (p1300 < 20), on the G120 after p0096 = 0, or after changing to a drive data set to which the conditions do not apply.
If the drive is configured to issue the same condition as a fault instead, the drive coasts down (OFF2) and the fault must be acknowledged immediately before it will restart.
