A07981 — Drive: Enable signals for the rotating measurement missing

A07981 is an alarm that appears when a rotating measurement is to be performed but cannot begin. The rotating measurement cannot be started due to missing enable signals. The drive is being asked to run the measurement, but the enable signals it requires have not been applied, so the measurement never starts. Which enable signals are expected depends on the setting of p1959.13: with p1959.13 = 1, the rotating measurement checks the ramp-function generator enables and the speed controller integrator enables named below.

• The rotating measurement cannot be started because the required enable signals are missing.
• When p1959.13 = 1, two groups of enables are the ones that matter: the enable signals for the ramp-function generator (see p1140 ... p1142) and the enable signals for the speed controller integrator (see p1476, p1477).

1. Acknowledge any faults that are present.
2. Establish the missing enable signals: with p1959.13 = 1, the rotating measurement expects the ramp-function generator enables (p1140 ... p1142) and the speed controller integrator enables (p1476, p1477).
3. Check r0002 (Control Unit operating display) and r0046 (missing enable signal) to see which enable signals are still missing.

• p1959 — data identification moving configuration: the enable checks for this alarm apply when p1959.13 = 1; confirm this bit first to know which enables the rotating measurement expects.
• p1140 — BI: Enable ramp-function generator/inhibit ramp-function generator; one of the ramp-function generator enable signals (p1140 ... p1142) that must be established.
• p1142 — BI: Enable setpoint/inhibit setpoint; also part of the ramp-function generator enable range p1140 ... p1142 named for this alarm.
• p1476 — BI: Velocity controller hold integrator; an enable signal for the speed controller integrator that must be present.
• p1477 — BI: Velocity controller set integrator value; the second speed controller integrator signal named for this alarm.
• r0002 — Control Unit operating display; the manual names it, together with r0046, when establishing the missing enable signals.
• r0046 — missing enable signal; shows the enable signal that is missing so you know what has to be established.

A07981 itself does not require an acknowledgment from you. It is resolved by removing the cause: acknowledge any faults that are present and establish the missing enable signals — the rotating measurement can then be started.
