A01590 — Drive: Motor maintenance interval expired

A01590 tells you that the operating-hours-based service/maintenance interval selected for the motor has expired — the motor has reached the maintenance interval that was set for it. The message is a reminder that motor service is due; it does not by itself stop the drive. Which motor is concerned is shown by the alarm value in r2124, which carries the motor data set number. Depending on how the drive is configured, the same condition can also be output as a fault instead of an alarm.

• The motor has reached the service/maintenance interval selected for it — the actual motor operating hours (p0650) have arrived at the interval configured in p0651. All manuals describe this single cause identically for the alarm, so there is nothing motor-type-specific to distinguish.

1. Read the alarm value in r2124 and interpret it as a decimal number: it contains the number of the motor data set whose maintenance interval has expired.
2. Compare the actual motor operating hours shown in p0650 with the maintenance interval set in p0651.
3. Carry out the service/maintenance on the motor.
4. Reset the service/maintenance interval in p0651.

• The message value is output as Fault cause: %1 bin, i.e. the cause is given as a binary value.
• For this message the alarm value is stored in r2124 and is to be interpreted as a decimal number: it contains the motor data set number of the affected motor. The manuals give no bit-by-bit decoding.

• r2124 — Alarm value: read it here and interpret it as a decimal number to identify the motor data set whose maintenance interval has expired.
• p0650 — Actual motor operating hours: shows how many operating hours the motor has accumulated so far.
• p0651 — Motor operating hours maintenance interval: this is the interval that has been reached; after the motor service has been carried out, reset it here so the message clears.

The alarm requires no acknowledgement and triggers no automatic drive reaction; it goes away once the service/maintenance has been carried out and the interval has been reset in p0651. If the drive is configured to raise the same condition as a fault, the fault still causes no automatic drive reaction but must be acknowledged immediately after the remedy.
