What it means
A35416 is issued by the temperature sensing of the Terminal Module 150 (TM150) when the temperature of channel 10, held in r4105[10], rises above the alarm threshold p4102[20]. As an alarm it triggers no protective response — the converter keeps running and the message only tells you that the channel-10 temperature has passed the set threshold. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same threshold condition can also be output as a fault (F) or as a message with no reaction (N).
Why it appears
- The channel-10 temperature r4105[10] measured via the TM150 temperature sensing has exceeded the threshold p4102[20] that initiates this alarm.
- For the sensor types "PTC thermistor" and "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[10] = 1, 4), the reported temperature is derived from the measured resistance r4101[10]: greater than 1650 ohms gives r4105[10] = 250 °C, 1650 ohms or less gives r4105[10] = -50 °C.
What to check
- Read the current channel-10 temperature in r4105[10] and compare it with the alarm threshold p4102[20].
- Let the sensor cool down — the manual's remedy is:
Allow the temperature sensor to cool down to below p4102[20] - hysteresis (p4118[10]).
Once this level is reached the alarm clears by itself, without acknowledgement. - If p4100[10] = 1 or 4 (PTC thermistor or bimetallic NC contact), check the resistance in r4101[10]: above 1650 ohms the channel reports 250 °C, at 1650 ohms or less it reports -50 °C, so the reported value follows the resistance.
Reading the message value
- The alarm value in r2124 holds the temperature actual value at the time the alarm was initiated.
- Interpret r2124 as a decimal number; the value is given in steps of 0.1 °C.
- The message value appears as the placeholder %1 and carries this temperature.
Parameters the manual names
- r4105[10] — the channel-10 temperature actual value measured via the TM150 temperature sensing; read it to follow the cool-down.
- p4102[20] — the alarm threshold of channel 10; the alarm initiates when r4105[10] rises above it and clears only once the temperature is below it again.

Acknowledging and restarting
The alarm needs no acknowledgement: once the sensor has cooled below p4102[20] minus the hysteresis p4118[10], A35416 clears by itself. If the drive's configuration outputs the same condition as a fault instead, it is only acknowledged by a POWER ON.
