What it means

A35412 indicates that the temperature measured through the temperature sensing of the Terminal Module 150 (TM150) on channel 6 — the actual value r4105[6] — has exceeded the alarm threshold stored in p4102[12]. Depending on how the drive is configured, the same condition can also be issued as a fault (F) or without any reaction (N). As an alarm, the drive takes no automatic action; the message only reports the temperature condition.

Why it appears

  • The temperature r4105[6] measured using the temperature sensing of the Terminal Module 150 (TM150) has exceeded the threshold value p4102[12] that initiates this alarm.
  • With sensor type "PTC thermistor" or "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[6] = 1, 4), the drive derives the temperature in r4105[6] directly from the measured resistance r4101[6]: above 1650 ohms it reports 250 °C, at 1650 ohms or below it reports -50 °C, so the alarm follows this fixed two-step conversion.

What to check

  1. Read the temperature actual value r4105[6] of channel 6 and compare it with the alarm threshold p4102[12].
  2. Read the alarm value r2124 as a decimal number: it holds the temperature actual value at the time the alarm was initiated, in 0.1 °C.
  3. If the sensor type is "PTC thermistor" or "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[6] = 1, 4), read the resistance r4101[6]: above 1650 ohms the drive reports 250 °C, at 1650 ohms or below it reports -50 °C.
  4. Allow the temperature sensor to cool down until the measured temperature lies below p4102[12] minus the hysteresis p4118[6].

If the drive's configuration raises the same condition as a fault, it is acknowledged immediately by a POWER ON.
