- If the sensor type in p4100[7] is set to PTC thermistor or Bimetallic NC contact (p4100[7] = 1 or 4), read the sensor resistance in r4101[7]: above 1650 ohms the drive sets r4105[7] to 250 °C, at 1650 ohms or below to -50 °C, so the displayed temperature follows directly from the resistance.
- Allow the temperature sensor to cool down to below p4102[14] minus the hysteresis in p4118[7]. The alarm then clears by itself.
