What to check
- Read the alarm value in r2124 (interpret decimal) to determine which quantity exceeded the value range.
- If required, reduce the traversing range or the position resolution.
- For alarm value 3, reduce the position resolution and the conversion factor: reduce the length unit (LU) per load revolution for rotary encoders (p2506) and increase the fine resolution of absolute position actual values (p0419).
Reading the message value
The drive stores the alarm value in r2124; interpret it as a decimal number:
- 1 — the position actual value (r2521) has exceeded the value range.
- 2 — the encoder position actual value (r0483) or the absolute value after the load gear (r2723) has exceeded the value range.
- 3 — the maximum encoder value times the factor to convert the absolute position (r0483 and/or r2723) from increments to length units (LU) has exceeded the value range for displaying the position actual value.
