A05000Power unit: Overtemperature heat sink AC inverter

What it means

The temperature at the heat sink of the power unit has reached the alarm threshold for overtemperature at the AC inverter. The converter does not trip on this alarm: the response it takes instead is set in p0290. If the heat sink temperature keeps rising and exceeds the value set in p0292[0], the drive outputs fault F30004 — the G130 and G150 manuals express this escalation as a further temperature rise of 5 K rather than an exceedance of p0292[0]. Depending on the converter configuration, the same condition can also be output with no reaction (N). G115D and G120C list the message only in their short tables, there titled “Power Module overtemperature”, without causes or remedies of their own.

No acknowledgment is required: the drive outputs this alarm without an automatic shutdown reaction, so there is nothing to reset at the operator panel.
