A01361Topology: Actual topology contains SINUMERIK and SIMOTION components

What it means

A01361 is raised when the drive detects that the actual topology contains both SINUMERIK and SIMOTION components. In this state the drive system is no longer booted, and the drive control (closed-loop) cannot be enabled. The alarm value in r2124 tells you which of the two mismatches the drive has found.

Why it appears

  • The detected actual topology contains SINUMERIK and SIMOTION components, so the drive system is no longer booted and closed-loop drive control cannot be enabled.
  • An NX10 or NX15 was connected to a SIMOTION control (alarm value 1, cc = 01 hex).
  • A CX32 was connected to a SINUMERIK control (alarm value 2, cc = 02 hex).

What to check

  1. Read the alarm value in r2124, interpreting it hexadecimal, to see which mismatch the drive has detected.
  2. For alarm value = 1 (cc = 01 hex = 1 dec): replace all NX10 or NX15 by a CX32.
  3. For alarm value = 2 (cc = 02 hex = 2 dec): replace all CX32 by an NX10 or NX15.

Reading the message value

  • The alarm value is held in r2124 and is interpreted hexadecimal as ddccbbaa hex: cc = fault cause, bb = component class of the actual topology, aa = component number of the component.
  • cc = 01 hex = 1 dec: An NX10 or NX15 was connected to a SIMOTION control.
  • cc = 02 hex = 2 dec: A CX32 was connected to a SINUMERIK control.

Parameters the manual names

  • r2124 — Alarm value: read it (interpret hexadecimal) to determine whether an NX10 or NX15 was connected to a SIMOTION control (cc = 01 hex) or a CX32 was connected to a SINUMERIK control (cc = 02 hex).

Acknowledging and restarting

No acknowledgement is required for this alarm. The remedy itself is the fix: replace the mismatched components — CX32 instead of NX10 or NX15, or NX10 or NX15 instead of CX32 — so that the detected actual topology no longer mixes SINUMERIK and SIMOTION components.

Questions technicians ask

What does SINAMICS alarm A01361 mean?

The detected actual topology contains both SINUMERIK and SIMOTION components. The drive system is no longer booted in this state, and the drive control (closed-loop) cannot be enabled.

How do I fix A01361?

Read the alarm value in r2124: if it is 1, replace all NX10 or NX15 by a CX32; if it is 2, replace all CX32 by an NX10 or NX15.

Can the drive be enabled while A01361 is active?

No. As long as the topology mixes SINUMERIK and SIMOTION components, the drive system is not booted and closed-loop drive control cannot be enabled.

Does A01361 need to be acknowledged?

No, no acknowledgement is required. The alarm is dealt with by replacing the mismatched components — CX32 instead of NX10 or NX15, or the reverse — as the remedy describes.
