What to check
- Read the fault value in r0949 (interpret decimal): it contains the temperature actual value of channel 11 at the time the message was initiated, in 0.1 °C. Compare it with the current temperature at connector output r4105[11].
- Check the sensor type set in p4100[11]. For sensor type "PTC thermistor" or "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[11] = 1, 4), read the sensor resistance r4101[11]: if it is greater than 1650 ohms, the drive sets the temperature r4105[11] = 250 °C; if it is 1650 ohms or less, it sets r4105[11] = -50 °C.
- Determine from the settings which of the two trigger conditions applies: the alarm threshold p4102[22] together with the timer p4103[11], or the fault threshold p4102[23].
- Allow the temperature sensor to cool down until it is below the fault threshold p4102[23] minus the hysteresis p4118[11].
- If required, set the fault response to NONE for this fault via p2100 and p2101.

Acknowledging and restarting
Remove the condition before acknowledging: let the temperature sensor cool down until it reads below the fault threshold p4102[23] minus the hysteresis p4118[11], then acknowledge the fault and restart the drive. When the condition is configured as an alarm (A) or as a message without reaction (N), the manual specifies reaction NONE and acknowledgement NONE, so no acknowledgement is needed in those variants.
