What to check
- Allow the temperature sensor to cool down to below p4102[13] minus the hysteresis p4118[6]. While it cools, you can follow the measured temperature at connector output r4105[6].
- If required, set the fault response to NONE by entering the fault number in p2100 and the response in p2101.
Reading the message value
- The fault value in r0949 (interpret decimal) contains the temperature actual value at the time the fault was initiated, in 0.1 °C.
- For sensor type "PTC thermistor" and "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[6] = 1, 4): if the sensor resistance r4101[6] is greater than 1650 ohms, the temperature r4105[6] = 250 °C; if r4101[6] is less than or equal to 1650 ohms, the temperature r4105[6] = -50 °C.
- The temperature actual value is output via connector r4105[6] and can be interconnected.

Acknowledging and restarting
Once the sensor has cooled below p4102[13] minus p4118[6], acknowledge the fault; acknowledgement takes effect immediately, and switching the power off and on again (POWER ON) also acknowledges it. After acknowledgement the drive can be restarted. When the condition is output as an alarm (A) or with no reaction (N), it requires no acknowledgement.
