The manual points out that the message only shuts the drive down when at least one BICO interconnection exists between the drive and the Terminal Module. The remaining temperature channels of the Terminal Module carry their own codes.

What to check
- Allow the temperature sensor to cool down to below p4102[9] minus the hysteresis set in p4118[4].
- Follow the channel 4 temperature actual value at connector output r4105[4]; the value can be interconnected and so watched while cooling.
- If the sensor type is "PTC thermistor" or "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[4] = 1, 4), read the resistance in r4101[4]: above 1650 ohms the drive shows r4105[4] = 250 °C, at 1650 ohms or below it shows r4105[4] = -50 °C.
- If required, set the fault response to NONE (p2100, p2101).

Acknowledging and restarting
As a fault, the message is acknowledged immediately; switching the power supply off and on (POWER ON) also removes it. Where the drive delivers the same condition as an alarm or with no reaction, no acknowledgement is required. Before restarting, make sure the sensor has cooled below p4102[9] minus the hysteresis (p4118[4]) so the condition is really gone.

How do I clear fault F35400?

Why does the temperature display show 250 °C or -50 °C?
