F07320 — Drive: Automatic restart interrupted

F07320 is the message the drive issues when its automatic restart does not complete: the restart is interrupted before the unit manages to switch itself on again. The function works with a limited number of start attempts (p1211) and a monitoring time (p1213) inside which the faults have to be acknowledged — and every new start attempt consumes one attempt from the counter. When one of these limits is missed, or the drive stays off after commissioning and related routines, this fault is the result.

• The configured number of restart attempts in p1211 is exhausted because the faults could not be acknowledged within the monitoring time in p1213; each new start attempt decrements the counter.
• The monitoring time of the power unit (p0857) has expired.
• The drive unit is not switched on again automatically when commissioning is exited, when the motor identification routine ends, or when the speed controller optimization finishes.

1. Raise the number of restart attempts in p1211; r1214 shows the actual number of start attempts.
2. Make the delay time stored in p1212 longer and/or extend the monitoring time kept in p1213.
3. Set a longer monitoring time for the power unit in p0857, or disable this monitoring.
4. Shorten the delay at which the start counter is reset via p1213[1]; fewer faults are then registered inside the time interval.
5. The manuals for the G115D and the G120C, which describe the code only as a short table, add one more step: apply an ON command at p0840.

• The fault value is held in r0949 and must be read hexadecimal.
• The manual publishes no decoding for this code: the value is reserved for internal Siemens troubleshooting, and the message value appears only as the placeholder %1.

• p1211 — AR start attempts: the stock of automatic restart attempts; raise it here, noting that each new start attempt decrements it.
• p1212 — AR t_wait start: the automatic restart delay time, to be increased alone or together with p1213.
• p1213 — AR t_mon: the monitoring time inside which the faults must be acknowledged; increase it, and shorten the p1213[1] delay that resets the start counter.
• p0857 — PU t_mon: the power unit monitoring time; lengthen it or disable it so it does not expire during the restart sequence.
• r0949 — fault value of this message, read hexadecimal, reserved for internal Siemens troubleshooting.

The drive coasts down on this fault and must be acknowledged before it will start again. Once acknowledged, a new automatic restart sequence can begin — and every new start attempt decrements the counter in p1211 again.
