F01674 — SI Motion P1 (CU): Safety function not supported by PROFIsafe telegram

F01674 is raised by the Control Unit (CU) when a monitoring function of Safety Integrated Motion (SI Motion P1) enabled in p9501 and p9601 is not supported by the PROFIsafe telegram currently set in p9611 — in other words, the enabled safety functions and the selected PROFIsafe telegram do not match. The drive then performs a STOP A that cannot be acknowledged, and the fault value stored in r0949 identifies bitwise which function is affected.

• A monitoring function enabled in p9501 and p9601 requires a PROFIsafe telegram that supports it, but the telegram currently set in p9611 does not support this function.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 and interpret it bitwise binary: each bit set to 1 names the monitoring function that the set PROFIsafe telegram does not support.
2. Deselect the monitoring function involved (p9501, p9601).
3. Set the matching PROFIsafe telegram (p9611), i.e. one that supports the monitoring functions you need.
4. Afterwards, acknowledge the fault with a POWER ON and restart the drive.

The drive stores the fault value in r0949; interpret it bitwise binary. Each bit set to 1 identifies a monitoring function that is not supported via PROFIsafe:

• Bit 4 = 1: SS2ESR via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9501.4).
• Bit 18 = 1: SS2E via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9501.18).
• Bit 24 = 1: Transfer SLS (SG) limit value via PROFIsafe not supported (p9501.24).
• Bit 25 = 1: Transfer safe position (SP) via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9501.25).
• Bit 26 = 1: Gearbox stage switchover via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9501.26).
• Bit 28 = 1: SCA via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9501.28).

The description for G130/G150 lists only the bits for SS2E, SLS (SG), safe position and gearbox stage switchover; bits 4 (SS2ESR) and 28 (SCA) are printed for S120/S150. Abbreviations: SCA — Safe Cam; SI — Safety Integrated; SLS — Safely-Limited Speed / SG — Safely reduced speed; SP — Safe Position; SS2E — Safe Stop 2 External (Safe Stop 2 with external stop, external STOP D); SS2ESR — Safe Stop 2 Extended Stop and Retract.

• p9501 (SI Motion enable safety functions, Control Unit): here you enable or deselect the SI Motion safety functions; deselect the function involved to clear F01674.
• p9601 (SI enable functions integrated in the drive, Control Unit): the functions integrated in the drive are enabled here; the function involved must be deselected here as well.
• p9611 (SI PROFIsafe telegram selection, Control Unit): set here the PROFIsafe telegram that matches the enabled monitoring functions.
• r0949 (fault value): read bitwise binary to identify which safety function the set telegram does not support.

This fault results in a STOP A that cannot be acknowledged. The stop therefore remains in place until the mismatch between the enabled monitoring functions and the PROFIsafe telegram has been corrected. Once p9501/p9601 or p9611 have been set accordingly, the drive accepts an acknowledgment only after a POWER ON — the power supply must be switched off and on again before the drive can be restarted.
