F01671 — SI Motion: Parameterization encoder error

F01671 (SI Motion: Parameterization encoder error) is reported when the parameterization of the encoder used by Safety Integrated (SI) is different to the parameterization of the standard encoder. The drive checks that the two encoder parameterizations correspond and raises this fault because they do not. The fault does not result in a safety stop response. The G130/G150 and the S120/S150 manuals describe this fault identically.

• The parameterization of the encoder used by Safety Integrated does not correspond to the parameterization of the standard encoder.

1. Read the fault value in r0949, interpreted as a decimal number: it is the parameter number of the safety parameter that does not correspond.
2. Align the encoder parameterization between the safety encoder and the standard encoder so that the parameter identified by the fault value corresponds on both sides.

• The drive enters the fault value in r0949; interpret it as a decimal number (this value appears as %1 in the message text).
• The fault value is the parameter number of the non-corresponding safety parameter — the safety parameter whose setting does not match the standard encoder.

• r0949 — fault value: read it interpreted as decimal to obtain the parameter number of the non-corresponding safety parameter for this fault.

Acknowledge the fault immediately; the acknowledgment requires a POWER ON, i.e. the power supply is switched off and on again once the encoder parameterizations have been aligned. While the fault is present the drive coasts down (OFF2) and does not start again until the fault has been acknowledged with this POWER ON.
