F01680 — SI Motion P1 (CU): Checksum error safety monitoring functions

F01680 is raised by the safety monitoring channel in the Control Unit (SI Motion P1): the checksum that the drive calculates from the safety-relevant parameters and enters in r9728 does not match the reference checksum that was saved in p9729 at the last machine acceptance. The drive therefore treats the safety-relevant parameter set as changed or faulty. The manual notes that this fault results in a STOP A that can be acknowledged.

• The checksum calculated by the drive from the safety-relevant parameters and entered in r9728 does not match the reference checksum saved in p9729 at the last machine acceptance.
• Safety-relevant parameters have been changed.
• A fault is present.

1. Check the safety-relevant parameters and, if required, correct them.
2. Execute the function "Copy RAM to ROM".
3. Perform a POWER ON if safety parameters requiring a POWER ON have been modified.
4. Carry out an acceptance test.

• The drive enters the fault value in r0949; interpret the value as a decimal number.
• 0: Checksum error for SI parameters for motion monitoring.
• 1: Checksum error for SI parameters for actual values.
• 2: Checksum error for SI parameters for component assignment.

• r9728 (SI Motion actual checksum SI parameters): contains the actual checksum that the drive calculates from the safety-relevant parameters; read it to compare against the reference checksum in p9729.
• p9729 (SI Motion reference checksum SI parameters): holds the reference checksum saved at the last machine acceptance; the fault is raised when r9728 no longer matches it.
• r0949 (fault value): read the decimal value here to identify which SI parameter group failed the checksum check (0, 1 or 2).

The fault leads to a STOP A that can be acknowledged; the drive coasts down and must be acknowledged before it will start. The acknowledgement is immediate and takes effect via a POWER ON: after removing the cause — correcting the safety-relevant parameters if required and executing the function "Copy RAM to ROM" — switch the drive off and on again. A POWER ON is required in any case when safety parameters that require a POWER ON have been modified. Finally, carry out an acceptance test.
