Why it appears
- A message with response DCBRK is active: the motor is braked with the braking current set in p1232 for the duration set in p1233. If the standstill threshold p1226 is undershot, braking is canceled prematurely.
- DC braking has been activated at binector input p1230 with the DC braking set (p1230 = 4): the braking current p1232 is injected until this binector input becomes inactive.
What to check
- No action is necessary — the alarm only reports that DC braking is running.
- The alarm automatically disappears once DC braking has been executed; nothing has to be acknowledged.
- If the DC braking was not expected, identify which of the two activation paths listed under causes applies — a message with response DCBRK, or the binector input p1230 = 4.

No acknowledgment is required. The alarm is withdrawn automatically as soon as DC braking has been executed — after the braking time p1233 has elapsed when it was started by a DCBRK response, or when the binector input p1230 becomes inactive again.
