What it means
A01064 signals an internal error of the Control Unit (CU): the checksum check of the CU program memory has failed, i.e. a CRC error was detected in the program memory. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be output as a fault instead of as an alarm.
Why it appears
- The Control Unit has detected a checksum error (CRC error) in its program memory.
What to check
- Carry out a POWER ON (switch-off/switch-on) for all components.
- Upgrade the firmware to a later version.
- Contact Technical Support.
Acknowledging and restarting
As an alarm, A01064 requires no separate acknowledgment. If the drive raises the same condition as a fault, acknowledge it immediately with a POWER ON: switch the power supply of all components off and on again. This power off/on cycle is also the first remedy step; if the checksum error reappears afterwards, continue with the firmware upgrade and, as the last step, Technical Support.
