F30805 — Power unit: EEPROM checksum error

F30805 means the power unit has detected an EEPROM checksum error: its internal parameter data is corrupted. The drive switches off immediately (OFF2) and the fault must be acknowledged before the drive can run again; acknowledgement is possible immediately, without any waiting period. The manuals for the G120, G120XA, G130, G150, S120 and S150 describe the code with the same cause and remedy; only the interpretation of the fault value differs between them (see below).

• The power unit's internal parameter data is corrupted — this is the only cause the manuals print for this code.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 and match it against the decoding below; it tells you whether the EEPROM access failed, whether the EEPROM holds too many blocks, or whether the safety data is affected (S120/S150 only).
2. Replace the affected power unit/module. The S120/S150 manual words this as replacing the power unit involved, the other manuals as replacing the module; no other remedy, parameter change or repair procedure is described.

The drive stores the fault value in r0949. For the G120, G120XA, G130 and G150 the manual says to interpret it in hexadecimal; for the S120 and S150, in decimal:

• 01: EEPROM access error.
• 02: Too many blocks in the EEPROM.
• 03: Safety EEPROM data error.
• … 20: Safety EEPROM data error — the S120/S150 manual prints this as a range from 03 to 20; the other manuals list no safety values.

• r0949 (fault value): read it for this code to see which of the EEPROM errors above the power unit detected — interpret it in hexadecimal on the G120, G120XA, G130 and G150, in decimal on the S120 and S150.

The fault is acknowledged immediately — no waiting time and no power-down are required. Because the corrupted data sits in the power unit itself, the manuals give no reset or re-parameterization procedure for this code: the remedy is to replace the power unit/module.
