F30682 — SI Motion P2: Monitoring function not supported

F30682 comes from the Safety Integrated (SI Motion) function set: a monitoring function has been enabled in the drive's safety parameters that the loaded firmware version does not support. It is a parameterization/commissioning error, not a hardware fault, and the manuals note explicitly that this message does not result in a safety stop response. The drive identifies the unsupported function itself: the fault value stored in r0949, interpreted as a decimal number, names the function and usually the bit that enables it. The manuals describe the code for G120 and, per drive object, for the SERVO and VECTOR drive objects and for HLA (Hydraulic Module); the enable parameters named in the cause differ slightly between these descriptions.

• A monitoring function enabled in p9301, p9501, p9601 or p9801 — the SI Motion / SI enable parameters of the Motor Module (MM) and Control Unit (CU) — is not supported in this firmware version.
• On the SERVO and VECTOR drive objects the cause additionally covers functions enabled in p9306, p9506, p9307 or p9507; the G120 and HLA entries name only p9301, p9501, p9601 and p9801.
• Behind the individual fault values: the firmware does not implement the function, the enable bit is not used by the firmware, the hardware has no onboard F-DI and F-DO, or the module's firmware version is older than the Control Unit's.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 as a decimal number and locate it in the list below; the entry names the unsupported function and, in most cases, the parameter bit that enables it.
2. Deselect the affected monitoring function in the enable parameter named for it: p9301 or p9801 on the Motor Module, p9501 or p9601 on the Control Unit; on the SERVO and VECTOR drive objects also check p9306, p9506, p9307 and p9507.
3. If the function is required rather than dispensable, upgrade the Motor Module firmware instead (the Hydraulic Module on the HLA drive object); fault value 30 in particular means the module firmware is older than the Control Unit's.

The drive stores the cause in r0949; interpret the value as a decimal number. The list below is the fullest decoding, given for the SERVO and VECTOR drive objects; the HLA and G120 entries decode a subset of the same values. The abbreviations are the manuals' own.

• r0949 — fault value; read it as a decimal number and match it against the list above to find the unsupported monitoring function.
• p9301 / p9801 — SI Motion enable safety functions (Motor Module) and SI enable functions integrated in the drive (Motor Module): the enable bits to deselect, several of which the fault value points at directly.
• p9501 / p9601 — the Control Unit counterparts; fault value 33 points to p9601.5 and p9801.5, values 39 and 44 to bits in p9501.
• p9306, p9506, p9307, p9507 — SI Motion function specification/configuration (Motor Module / Control Unit); named in the cause and remedy of the SERVO and VECTOR entries and in fault values 52 and 53.
• p9567 — SI Motion switchover velocity to the SOS/SLS level (Control Unit); one of the switchover times fault value 50 concerns.

After deselecting the unsupported function, or after upgrading the module firmware, acknowledge the fault immediately by switching the power supply off and on again (POWER ON). The message does not result in a safety stop response, so nothing has to be reset on the safety side.
