F30674 — SI Motion P2: Safety function not supported by PROFIsafe telegram

F30674 belongs to the Safety Integrated (SI) Motion messages (P2): the drive raises it when a monitoring function enabled in p9301 and p9801 is not supported by the PROFIsafe telegram currently set in p9811, so the configured safety functions and the selected safety telegram do not match. The drive coasts down and does not restart until the mismatch is corrected and the fault has been acknowledged. The manual notes explicitly: This fault does not result in a safety stop response.

• A monitoring function enabled in p9301 and p9801 is not supported by the PROFIsafe telegram set in p9811 — the enabled functions include one the selected telegram cannot transfer via PROFIsafe.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 bitwise binary and use the bit assignment below to identify which monitoring function the current PROFIsafe telegram does not support.
2. Deselect the monitoring function involved in p9301 and p9801.
3. Set the PROFIsafe telegram in p9811 that matches the safety functions you actually use.
4. Acknowledge the fault by switching the power supply off and on again (POWER ON) before restarting.

• The drive writes the fault value to r0949; the manual specifies to interpret it bitwise binary — every bit set to 1 names a monitoring function that the set PROFIsafe telegram does not support.
• Bit 4 = 1: SS2ESR via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9301.4) — SS2ESR: Safe Stop 2 Extended Stop and Retract.
• Bit 18 = 1: SS2E via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9301.18) — SS2E: Safe Stop 2 external (Safe Stop 2 with external stop, external STOP D).
• Bit 24 = 1: Transfer SLS limit value via PROFIsafe not supported (p9301.24) — SLS: Safely-Limited Speed.
• Bit 25 = 1: Transfer safe position (SP) via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9301.25) — SP: Safe Position.
• Bit 26 = 1: Gearbox stage switchover via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9301.26).
• Bit 28 = 1: SCA via PROFIsafe is not supported (p9301.28) — SCA: Safe Cam.
• The two manuals decode the value slightly differently: the entry for the G130/G150 (drive object VECTOR_G) lists only the bits 18, 24, 25 and 26 and labels bit 24 there as SLS (SG); the S120/S150 entry (HLA, SERVO and VECTOR drive objects) additionally lists the bits 4 and 28 shown above.

• p9301 (SI Motion enable safety functions): holds the enable bits of the safety functions; the bit positions named in the fault value, e.g. p9301.18, point here when a function has to be deselected.
• p9801 (SI enable functions integrated in the drive): switched off here together with p9301 to deselect the monitoring function the telegram does not support.
• p9811 (SI PROFIsafe telegram selection): set the telegram here that supports all the safety functions enabled in p9301 and p9801.
• r0949 (fault value): read bitwise binary to identify which safety function triggered F30674.

The acknowledgment type is POWER ON: switch the drive's power supply off and on again to acknowledge F30674; a reset command alone is not sufficient for this acknowledgment type. If p9301, p9801 and p9811 still do not match, the fault is raised again after the power cycle.
