F07515 — Drive: Power unit and motor incorrectly connected

F07515 is raised when a drive data set assigns a power unit to a motor although this assignment is not connected in the target topology: a power unit (via PDS) has been paired with a motor (via MDS) in a drive data set that the target topology does not connect. The drive also raises the fault when no motor has been assigned to the power unit at all (p0131). The fault value tells you which drive data set is affected.

• A drive data set pairs a power unit (assigned via PDS) with a motor (assigned via MDS), but this drive data set is not connected in the target topology.
• It is possible that a motor has not been assigned to the power unit at all (p0131).

1. Assign the drive data set to a combination of motor and power unit that the target topology permits.
2. Alternatively, adapt the target topology.
3. If required, for a missing motor, recreate the component (drive Wizard).

• The message value %1 carries the fault value.
• Fault value in r0949, interpret decimal: number of the incorrectly parameterized drive data set.

• r0949 (fault value) — read it as a decimal number; it contains the number of the incorrectly parameterized drive data set.
• p0131 (motor component number) — check here whether a motor has been assigned to the power unit; a missing assignment triggers this fault.
• p0186 (Motor Data Sets (MDS) number) — identifies the motor data set side of the assignment that has to be corrected.
• p0121 (power unit component number) — identifies the power unit side of the assignment that has to be corrected.

The drive coasts down when this fault is raised. Once the drive data set has been assigned to a combination of motor and power unit that the target topology permits (or the target topology has been adapted), acknowledge the fault immediately; the drive only starts again after acknowledgment. If the assignment still does not match the target topology, the fault reappears.
