F07100 — Drive: Sampling times cannot be reset

F07100 is raised when a drive parameter reset is started (p0976) and the drive cannot reset the sampling times using p0111, p0112 and p0115. The drive reports the parameter whose setting is blocking the reset: the parameter number is entered as the message value («Parameter: %1») and can be read in r0949.

• A drive parameter reset (p0976) was started, and the sampling times cannot be reset using p0111, p0112 and p0115.
• The setting of the parameter named in the fault value prevents the sampling times from being reset.

1. Keep the sampling times as they are currently set and continue to work with them.
2. Alternatively, set the basic clock cycle p0110[0] to the original value before you reset the drive parameters.

• Read the fault value in r0949 as a decimal number — the manual gives no bit decoding for this fault.
• The value is the parameter whose setting prevents the sampling times from being reset.
• The message value carries the same information as «Parameter: %1», where %1 is that parameter number.

• p0976 (reset and load all parameters): the drive parameter reset; the fault is raised while this reset is running if the sampling times cannot be reset along with it.
• p0112 (sampling times pre-setting): one of the sampling-time settings affected by the reset; check this parameter if the fault value points to it.
• p0115 (sampling time for supplementary functions): one of the sampling-time settings affected by the reset; check this parameter if the fault value points to it.
• r0949 (fault value): read here as a decimal number to identify the parameter whose setting prevents the sampling time reset.
• r0110 (basic sampling times): the manual cross-references this display of the basic sampling times for this fault; the associated basic clock cycle p0110[0] must be set back to its original value before the parameter reset.

An immediate acknowledgment is sufficient — for example with the acknowledgment command on the operator panel or in the commissioning tool — and the drive does not have to be powered down. The drive takes no automatic action for this fault, so no special restart is needed. Follow one of the two remedies — keep the set sampling times, or set p0110[0] to the original value before the drive parameter reset — and then acknowledge the fault.
