F07093 — Drive: Test signal error

F07093 means that the drive identified an error while executing the Test signal function, which is started with p5307.1 = 1 as part of One Button Tuning (OBT). The function was not executed or was canceled. The drive writes the concrete reason into the fault value r0949 (interpret decimal), so the number tells you which of the seven causes applies. Depending on the drive configuration, the same condition can also be signalled as an alarm (A).

• An error was identified while executing the Test signal function (p5307.1 = 1); the function was not executed or was canceled. The fault value in r0949 distinguishes the seven individual causes listed below.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 (interpret decimal) and apply the matching step below.
2. Fault value 1: define a distance limit (p5308).
3. Fault value 2: increase the duration or the distance limit (p5309, p5308) so the moment of inertia estimator can stabilize.
4. Fault value 3: check the distance limit (p5308).
5. Fault value 4: configure speed control with an encoder.
6. Fault value 5: increase the distance limit p5308 or reduce the offset p5297. With the factory setting the test signal lasts approximately 1.3 s; an offset of 60 rpm then corresponds to a distance of approximately 1.3 revolutions, so p5308 must be parameterized longer than this distance plus 10% controller reserve (e.g. p5308 = 515°). The required distance also depends on the speed controller sampling time (p0115[1]) and the controller configuration (p5271). Note that this fault value can only be acknowledged after p5300 has been set = 0.
7. Fault value 6: keep the drive switched on until the "Test signal" function has been completely exited.
8. Fault value 7: set the speed setpoint to zero; it is possible that the setpoint was entered from the control panel.

• 1: No distance limit has been defined (p5308 = 0).
• 2: The moment of inertia estimator has not stabilized in the parameterized time (p5309) (r1407.26).
• 3: The parameterized distance (p5308) was exceeded.
• 4: no motor encoder parameterized (closed-loop speed control without encoder).
• 5: Offset (p5297) is too high for the parameterized distance (p5308).
• 6: Pulse enable was withdrawn while traversing.
• 7: speed setpoint not equal to zero.

• r0949 — holds the fault value (interpret decimal) that tells which of the seven causes raised F07093.
• p5307 — activates the One Button Tuning test signal (bit 1 = 1); the function whose failed or canceled run produces this fault.
• p5308 — One Button Tuning test signal distance limiting: define it (fault value 1), check it (3) or extend it (2 and 5).
• p5309 — One Button Tuning test signal duration: increase it when the moment of inertia estimator has not stabilized within the parameterized time (fault value 2).
• p5297 — offset of the test signal: reduce it when it is too high for the parameterized distance (fault value 5).
• p5300 — autotuning selection: must be set = 0 before a fault value 5 can be acknowledged.
• p0115[1] — sampling time that influences the distance the test signal needs (fault value 5).
• p5271 — One Button Tuning configuration that also influences the required distance (fault value 5).

Remove the cause first, then acknowledge the fault — acknowledgement is possible immediately, with one exception: a fault value 5 can only be acknowledged after p5300 has been set = 0. When the drive signals the condition only as an alarm (A), no acknowledgement is required. After the correction the test signal function can be started again with p5307.1 = 1.
