F07097 — Drive: Test signal error distance limiting

F07097 appears when the drive identifies an error while running the "Test signal" function started with p5307.1 = 1, or while the auto tuning selected with p5300 = 1 is running; the function is then either not executed at all or canceled. This variant of the message points at the traversing path: the manual decodes fault cause = 4 as a travel distance up to the EPOS software limit switch that does not suffice for the test. Depending on how the drive is configured, the same condition can also be output as an alarm (A) instead of a fault.

• An error occurred while the "Test signal" function (p5307.1 = 1) or the selected auto tuning (p5300 = 1) was running, so the function was not executed or was canceled.
• Fault cause = 4: the travel distance remaining up to the EPOS software limit switch does not suffice for the test traverse.

1. Enter the traversing path the test requires in p5308.
2. Alternatively, switch the involved function off in p5301.
3. For fault cause 1 and fault cause 2, shorter traversing paths may work: clear bit 0 and bit 1 in p5301 for fault cause 1, clear bit 2 in p5301 for fault cause 2.
4. For fault cause 3, clear bit 4 and bit 5 in p5301.
5. For fault cause 4, reverse the One Button Tuning travel direction in p5308 and traverse the axis manually to enlarge the clearance to the EPOS software limit switch.

• The drive stores the value in r0949; read the decimal display as a hexadecimal figure yyyyxxxx — yyyy in the upper half gives the error cause, xxxx in the lower half the traversing distance.
• The message value shown for the event repeats this pair: %1 is the fault cause, %2 the traversing distance.
• The only cause the manual decodes for this message is fault cause = 4: the travel distance to the EPOS software limit switch is not sufficient.

• p5307 (Activate One Button Tuning test signal): bit .1 set to 1 starts the test signal whose failed or canceled execution raises this fault.
• p5300 (Autotuning selection): value 1 selects auto tuning, the second run during which this error can be identified.
• p5308 (One Button Tuning test signal distance limiting): enter the traversing path here; for fault cause 4 you also reverse the One Button Tuning travel direction here.
• p5301 (One Button Tuning configuration): clear the bits named in the remedy (bit 0/bit 1, bit 2, bit 4/bit 5) to switch the involved functions off.
• r0949 (Fault value): read the error cause and the traversing distance for this fault from it.

Acknowledge the fault; after correcting the traversing path in p5308 or the configuration in p5301, the test signal or auto tuning can be started again. If the drive outputs the condition only as an alarm (A), it takes no action and no acknowledgment is needed.
