What it means

F01625 is raised when the drive-integrated 'Safety Integrated' (SI) function on processor 1 (P1) of the Control Unit (CU) detects an error in the sign-of-life of the safety data; the function then initiates a STOP A. The monitoring watches the exchange of safety data between the two monitoring channels — the G120 manual places this exchange between processor 1 and processor 2, the manuals for the other families between the two monitoring channels of the safety function. The motor coasts down (OFF2), and the fault must be acknowledged with a POWER ON before the drive will start again.

Why it appears

  • The communication of the safety data between the two monitoring channels has failed or is faulty: for S120, S150, G130 and G150 the manual describes a DRIVE-CLiQ communication error or a total communication failure between the two monitoring channels, for the G120 a communication error between processor 1 and processor 2.
  • A time slice overflow of the safety software has occurred.

What to check

  1. Select STO (Safe Torque Off) and then deselect it again.
  2. Carry out a POWER ON (switch-off/switch-on) of all components; on the G120C the manual says to switch the converter power supply off and on again.
  3. Check whether additional faults are present and, if required, perform diagnostics. On S120, S150, G130 and G150 this check is aimed specifically at a DRIVE-CLiQ communication error between the two monitoring channels.
  4. Deselect all drive functions that are not absolutely necessary and reduce the number of drives (S120, S150, G130, G150).
  5. Check the electrical cabinet design and cable routing for EMC compliance.
  6. Check whether an impermissible voltage is connected at one of the digital outputs (G120, G120C).
  7. Check whether a digital output is loaded with an impermissible current (G120, G120C).
