A08561 — IE: Consistency error affecting adjustable parameters

A08561 appears when the drive detects a consistency error while activating the configuration for the Industrial Ethernet interface (X127); the activation is performed with p8905. The alarm value stored in r2124, read as a decimal number, states which setting is inconsistent — for example the IP configuration, the station names, or a setting that conflicts with the PROFINET onboard interface.

• A consistency error was detected when the drive activated the configuration for the Industrial Ethernet interface (X127) with p8905.
• The alarm value in r2124 identifies the inconsistent setting: an error in the IP configuration (IP address, subnet mask or standard gateway), an error in the station names, or a standard gateway, station name or IP address that is also present at, or in the same subnet as, the PROFINET onboard interface.

1. Check the required interface configuration (p8900 and following), correct it if necessary, and activate it again with p8905.
2. Alternatively, reinitialize/reconfigure the station using the "Edit Ethernet node" screen form, for example with the STARTER commissioning tool.

The drive stores the alarm value in r2124; interpret it as a decimal number. The value tells you what is inconsistent:

• 0 — general consistency error
• 1 — error in the IP configuration (IP address, subnet mask or standard gateway)
• 2 — error in the station names
• 5 — the standard gateway is also set at the PROFINET onboard interface
• 6 — the station name is also set at the PROFINET onboard interface
• 7 — the IP address is located in the same subnet as the IP address of the PROFINET onboard interface

With the alarm values 0, 1, 2, 5 and 7 the configuration was not changed. With alarm value 6, the new configuration was however activated.

• p8900 (IE Name of Station) — the station name of the Industrial Ethernet interface; check it and correct it as part of the configuration that must be consistent.
• p8901 (IE IP address) — the IP address of the interface; check and correct it, alarm value 1 points to an error in the IP configuration.
• p8902 (IE default gateway) — the standard gateway of the interface; check and correct it, alarm value 5 means it is also set at the PROFINET onboard interface.
• p8903 (IE Subnet Mask) — the subnet mask of the interface; check and correct it as part of the IP configuration.
• p8905 (Activate IE interface configuration) — activates the interface configuration; the consistency error occurred during this activation, so after correcting the settings you activate again here.
• r2124 (Alarm value) — read the alarm value here and interpret it in decimal notation to find which setting is inconsistent.

The drive takes no automatic reaction to this alarm and no acknowledgement is required. Remove the cause instead: correct the interface configuration (p8900 and following) and activate it again with p8905, or reinitialize/reconfigure the station using the "Edit Ethernet node" screen form, for example with STARTER.
