A07200 — Drive: Master control ON command present

A07200, "Drive: Master control ON command present", tells you that the ON/OFF1 command is present — the drive sees the ON signal and no 0 signal. The manual names the two ways the command arrives: via binector input p0840 (current CDS) or via control word bit 0 through the master control. On the G120XA the manual adds a second condition behind the same alarm: the "master control by PLC" signal was missing in operation. What the drive does when the alarm appears depends on the configuration — the manuals show responses ranging from no reaction at all to a stop along OFF1, with OFF2, OFF3 or STOP2 as parameterized alternatives.

• The ON/OFF1 command is present (no 0 signal). The command is influenced either via binector input p0840 (current CDS) or via control word bit 0 through the master control — this core cause is printed for the G120, G120XA, G130, G150, S120 and S150 alike.
• On the G120XA the manual broadens the cause: the "master control by PLC" signal was missing in operation. It names three reasons — the interconnection of the binector input for "master control by PLC" is incorrect (p0854), the higher-level control has withdrawn the "master control by PLC" signal, or the data transfer via the fieldbus (master/drive) was interrupted. The manual prints this block together with the related message F07220 (N, A) Drive: Master control by PLC missing.

1. Switch the signal via binector input p0840 (current CDS) or via control word bit 0 of the master control to 0 — this is the remedy every manual gives for the alarm.
2. G120XA: if the "master control by PLC" signal was missing in operation, check the interconnection of the binector input for "master control by PLC" (p0854).
3. G120XA: check the "master control by PLC" signal and, if required, switch it in.
4. G120XA: check the data transfer via the fieldbus (master/drive).
5. Note from the G120XA manual: if the drive should continue to operate after withdrawing "master control by PLC", the fault response must be parameterized to NONE or the message type should be parameterized as alarm.

• p0840 (BI: ON / OFF (OFF1)) — the binector input through which the ON command reaches the drive in the current CDS; switch the signal here, or at control word bit 0, to 0 to clear the alarm.
• p0854 (BI: Control by PLC/no control by PLC / Master ctrl by PLC) — the binector input for "master control by PLC"; on the G120XA check its interconnection when the signal was missing in operation.

This alarm needs no acknowledgment — it goes away by itself once the ON/OFF1 signal is switched back to 0, either via binector input p0840 (current CDS) or via bit 0 of the control word of the master control.
