A07014Drive: Motor temperature model configuration alarm

What it means

A07014 tells you that the configuration of the motor temperature model is faulty — the alarm points at the model's setup, not at a measured motor temperature. The drive writes a numeric alarm value into r2124, which you read as a decimal number to identify the exact configuration problem. Depending on how the drive is configured, the same condition can also be output as a message without any reaction (N).

Why it appears

  • The configuration of the motor temperature model contains a fault.
  • Alarm value 1: in all motor temperature models, it is not possible to save the model temperature.
  • On S120/S150 for SERVO, alarm value 300 is added: for motor temperature model 3, the threshold value for alarm (r5398) is set higher than the threshold value for fault (r5399).

What to check

  1. Read the alarm value in r2124 as a decimal number to see which configuration problem the drive found.
  2. Set the response for motor overtemperature to "Alarm and fault, no reduction of I_max" — p0610 = 2.
  3. On S120/S150 with SERVO and alarm value 300: check the threshold values r5398 and r5399 and correct them so that the alarm threshold (r5398) is no longer higher than the fault threshold (r5399).

The alarm goes away once the configuration fault is removed: set p0610 to 2 and, if alarm value 300 was shown, bring the thresholds r5398 and r5399 back into the correct order.
