A01695 — SI Motion: Sensor Module was replaced

A01695 is raised when a Sensor Module that the drive uses for the SI Motion safety monitoring functions has been exchanged. The drive expects such a hardware replacement to be confirmed in its safety data before Safety Integrated operation continues, and an acceptance test must follow. The message itself does not trigger a safety stop response. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be issued as a fault (F) instead of this alarm.

• A Sensor Module used for the safe motion monitoring functions (SI Motion) has been replaced.
• The drive requires the hardware replacement to be acknowledged; an acceptance test must be performed afterwards.
• The message does not bring about a safety stop.

1. Open the safety screen form in the STARTER commissioning tool and press the Acknowledge hardware replacement button.
2. Execute the function Copy RAM to ROM.
3. Carry out a POWER ON: switch all components off and back on again.
4. Alternatively, work in the expert list of the commissioning tool: start the copy function for the node identifier on the drive via p9700.
5. Acknowledge the hardware CRC on the drive via p9701.
6. Save all parameters with p0977 = 1.
7. Then again switch all components off and back on (POWER ON).
8. Afterwards, carry out an acceptance test; the Safety Integrated Function Manual describes it.

On a SINUMERIK, the HMI supports the replacement of components with Safety functions: operating area "Diagnostics" --> Softkey "Alarm list" --> Softkey "Confirm SI HW" and the following steps. The precise procedure is given in the SINUMERIK Function Manual Safety Integrated.

• p9700 — SI Motion copy function: starts the copy of the node identifier on the drive when the replaced Sensor Module is acknowledged through the expert list.
• p9701 — Acknowledge SI motion data change: acknowledges the hardware CRC on the drive, the second expert-list step after a Sensor Module swap.
• p0977 — Save all parameters: set to 1 so the acknowledgement is stored before the final POWER ON.

There is no separate reset for this message: it goes once the replaced Sensor Module has been acknowledged through one of the two routes above, each of which ends with a POWER ON of all components. The acceptance test that follows is part of putting the safety functions back into service and must not be skipped.
