What it means

A01487 is a topology alarm: the drive compares the actual topology (the hardware that is really connected) with the target topology (the project in the commissioning software) and has found that an option slot component expected by the project is not inserted. Why it appears

  • The topology comparison has detected that an option slot component present in the target topology is missing in the actual topology, i.e. the component has not been inserted at the connection where the project expects it.

What to check

  1. Insert the components involved at the right connection, so that the actual topology matches the project again.
  2. Alternatively, adapt the project/parameterizing in the commissioning software, so that the target topology matches the hardware actually connected.
  3. Check the 24 V supply voltage.
  4. Check the DRIVE-CLiQ cables for interruption and contact problems.
  5. Check that the component is working properly.
