What it means
The drive continuously compares the actual topology (the hardware as it is currently connected) with the target topology (the project in the commissioning tool). A01484 is raised when this comparison finds a DRIVE-CLiQ Hub Module missing in the actual topology with respect to the target topology — in other words, the project expects a Hub Module that is not present where it should be. The message value and the alarm value identify the affected component and connection. The alarm concerns the drive as a whole rather than one particular drive object.
Why it appears
- The topology comparison has detected a DRIVE-CLiQ Hub Module that is configured in the target topology but is missing in the actual topology.
- In practice this means either the components involved — including the Hub Module — are not inserted at the connection the project expects, or the project/parameterization no longer matches the hardware actually connected.
What to check
- Decide which side is wrong and correct it: if the hardware layout is the intended one, insert the components involved at the right connection (correct the actual topology); if the hardware is meant to be different, adapt the project/parameterization in the commissioning tool (correct the target topology).
- Where relevant, use the improved diagnostics of the commissioning tool under
Topology --> Topology view
(e.g. setpoint/actual value comparison). - Check the 24 V supply voltage.
- Check DRIVE-CLiQ cables for interruption and contact problems.
- Check that the component is working properly.

This alarm requires no acknowledgement, and the drive does not change its operating state because of it. Once you have corrected the actual topology or adapted the target topology so that the comparison no longer detects a missing DRIVE-CLiQ Hub Module, the alarm condition is resolved.
