What it means

- If the service is due, follow the instruction printed in the message and contact JCI.
- After the service has been performed, clear the warning with its manual reset so the counters start counting again (see Reset).

Reset and restart
This warning does not clear by itself: the manual requires a manual reset, protected by Reset Password 0726. The manual also states: Manual Reset of this warning shall be added into the Security Log with the message of “Yearly Service Required Warning Reset”.
Once the warning is cleared, three counters return to zero: Days Since Last Yearly Service is set to 0, Operating Hours Since Last Yearly Service is set to 0, and Purge Count Since Last Filter-Drier Replacement is set to 0.
