It is classified as a Manual Reset Warning with Event Code 331 and GPIC Warning Code 146. The Shutdown Type is None, so the chiller does not stop when this message appears, and the event is enabled in all allowed states of the unit.

This is the yearly service reminder built into the control center, not a fault and not a shutdown. The manual defines exactly when it sets: the warning appears when all of the following are true — Days Since Last Yearly Service is greater than or equal to 365 Days, and Operating Hours Since Last Yearly Service is greater than 2,890 Hours. The manual explains the hours figure as 33% of a year's run hours (24 × 365 × 0.33). Both counters must be over their limits at the same time. Bypass Time is None and Trip Time is Instantaneous, so the message appears as soon as the condition is met, with Enable: Always.

1. Confirm from the display that this is the yearly service warning (Event Code 331) and not a shutdown event — Shutdown Type is None and the unit keeps running.
2. Establish whether the yearly service has actually been carried out since the counters were last cleared; the warning only appears once both the 365-day and the 2,890-hour limits have been passed.
3. If the service is due, follow the instruction printed in the message and contact JCI.
4. After the service has been performed, clear the warning with its manual reset so the counters start counting again (see Reset).
