Why it appears

  • On a G120, the enables of the safety-related brake control differ between the two monitoring channels (p9602 not equal to p9802).
  • Fault value 9999 is only the subsequent response of another safety-related fault that occurred when booting and that requires an acceptance test.

What to check

  1. Read the fault value in r0949 (interpret decimal) and continue according to its value.
  2. 130: carry out the safety commissioning routine.
  3. 1000: on S120/S150/G130/G150, check the Safety Integrated Basic Functions (r9880) and adapt the reference checksum (p9899); then again carry out the safety commissioning routine. Using STARTER, activate the safety parameters for the drive involved (change settings, copy parameters, activate settings). Switch the drive unit and the DRIVE-CLiQ components off and on; if A30650 is still present, repeat the download. Replace the memory card or the Control Unit. The G120 manual lists only: repeat the safety commissioning routine, replace the memory card or Control Unit, and activate the safety parameters with STARTER.
  4. 2000: check the safety parameters on monitoring channel 2 (G120: processor 2) and adapt the reference checksum (p9899).
  5. 2003 and 2005: carry out an acceptance test and generate an acceptance report. For the procedure and an example of the acceptance report, the S120/S150/G130/G150 manual refers to the SINAMICS S120 Function Manual Safety Integrated.
