What it means

F30025 “Power unit: Chip overtemperature” reports that the chip temperature of the semiconductor in the power unit has exceeded the permissible limit value. The manuals for the G120, G120XA, G130, G150, S120 and S150 describe this fault identically. When it trips, the drive coasts down (OFF2), and the message value records how far the chip sits above the heat sink temperature.

Why it appears

  • The permissible load duty cycle was not maintained.
