F06200Infeed: One or several line phases failed

What it means

F06200 reports that the infeed has detected a failure or an overvoltage in one or several line supply phases. The drive raises the fault either during the switch-on phase of the infeed or while the infeed is operational. When it trips, the infeed coasts down and must be acknowledged before it will start again.

Why it appears

  • The fault can be raised in two operating states: during the switch-on phase of the infeed, or while the infeed is operational.
  • At switch-on: the measured line supply angle deviates from the regular characteristic of a 3-phase system, so the PLL cannot be synchronized.
  • At switch-on with a Voltage Sensing Module (VSM): the fault appears immediately after switch-on if the phase assignment L1, L2, L3 at the VSM differs from the phase assignment at the power unit.
  • During operation: an additional fault occurred while the line voltage alarm (A06205) or the current symmetry alarm (A06206) was active, and this additional fault led to the shutdown; the alarm values of A06205 and A06206 can provide additional information about the cause.
  • Possible underlying causes named for this fault: a voltage dip on the line side, a phase failure, or an overvoltage lasting longer than 10 ms.
  • An overload condition on the load side with peak current.
  • A missing line reactor.

What to check

  1. Check the line supply, the terminals and the fuses.
  2. Check the connection and the size (rating) of the line filter and/or the line commutating reactor.
  3. Check and correct the phase assignment at the VSM (X521 or X522) and at the power unit.
  4. Check the load.
  5. If the infeed failed during operation, carefully note the previous alarm messages A06205/A06206 together with their alarm values.
