F01651 — SI P1 (CU): Synchronization safety time slices unsuccessful

F01651 means that the synchronization routine of the Safety Integrated function was unsuccessful. The message text SI P1 (CU) places the fault at the Safety Integrated (SI) function of the Control Unit (CU). On the drives with a higher-level control, Safety Integrated must synchronize the safety time slices between the two monitoring channels and between the Control Unit and the higher-level control; the G120 manual describes the same failure as an unsuccessful synchronization of the safety time slices between processor 1 and processor 2. The fault results in a STOP A that cannot be acknowledged.

1. Read the fault value in r0949 and interpret it as a decimal number.
2. Fault value 121: carry out a common POWER ON/warm restart for the higher-level control and SINAMICS.
3. Fault value 150: check the setting of p9510 (SI Motion isochronous PROFIBUS master) and correct it if required.
4. Carry out a POWER ON (switch-off/switch-on) for all components — for the G120 this is the remedy the manual names.
5. If the fault persists, upgrade the Motor Module/Hydraulic Module software, upgrade the Control Unit software and upgrade the software of the higher-level control.

The drive enters the cause of the fault into r0949 as a fault value that must be interpreted as a decimal number. The G120 manual decodes no value of its own — there the fault value is only for internal Siemens troubleshooting.

• 121 — with SINUMERIK Safety Integrated enabled, a drive-side warm restart was performed on the CU/NX; or, with SINUMERIK Safety Integrated enabled, the function restore factory setting was selected on a drive object of the CU and a drive-side warm restart was initiated.
• 150 — fault in the synchronization to the PROFIBUS master.
• All other values — only for internal Siemens troubleshooting.

• r0949 (fault value): read the value stored here, interpreted as a decimal, to tell which situation triggered F01651.
• p9510 (SI Motion isochronous PROFIBUS master; the G130/G150 manual names it SI Motion clock-cycle synchronous PROFIBUS master): check this setting and correct it if required when the fault value is 150.
