F01658 — SI P1 (CU): PROFIsafe telegram number differ

F01658 is raised by the Safety Integrated monitoring of processor 1 in the Control Unit (SI P1 (CU)) when the selected PROFIsafe telegram does not match the safety configuration. The manuals describe two situations behind the same code: on the G120 the PROFIsafe telegram number in p60022 is not suitable for the enabled safety functions, while on the G130, G150, S120 and S150 the number differs — it is set differently in p9611 and p60022. In either case the drive coasts down and may only be restarted once the fault has been acknowledged; the fault itself does not result in a safety stop response.

• Telegram unsuitable (G120): the telegram number entered in p60022 does not suit the Safety functions that have been enabled. If PROFIsafe is not enabled (p9601.3 = 0), it is not permissible to select a PROFIsafe telegram in p60022; if PROFIsafe is enabled (p9601.3 = 1), a PROFIsafe telegram must be selected there.
• F-DIs transferred via PROFIsafe (G120): when the transfer of the F-DIs via PROFIsafe is selected (p9501.30 = 1), telegram 900 must be selected in p60022. This only applies to Control Units which support Extended Functions via PROFIsafe (r9771.4 = 1).
• Telegram numbers differ (G130, G150, S120, S150): the PROFIsafe telegram number is set differently in p9611 and p60022. If p9611 is not equal to 998, the number must be identically set in both parameters. If p9611 = 998 — kept for compatibility with firmware versions < 4.5 — only the values 0 and 30 are permitted in p60022.

1. Read the telegram number in p60022 and select the number that matches the Safety functions that have been enabled.
2. On the G120, check whether PROFIsafe is enabled: with p9601.3 = 0 no PROFIsafe telegram may remain selected in p60022; with p9601.3 = 1 a PROFIsafe telegram must be selected there.
3. Where the F-DIs are transferred via PROFIsafe (p9501.30 = 1), enter telegram 900 in p60022 — this applies only if the Control Unit supports Extended Functions via PROFIsafe (r9771.4 = 1).
4. On the G130, G150, S120 and S150, compare p9611 and p60022 and set the same telegram number in both parameters. When p9611 = 998, restrict p60022 to the values 0 or 30.

• p60022 (PROFIsafe telegram selection): the parameter whose value is corrected here — it must match the enabled safety functions and, except when p9611 = 998, be identical to p9611.
• p9611 (SI PROFIsafe telegram selection (Control Unit)): the Control Unit's own PROFIsafe telegram selection, which must hold the same number as p60022; at p9611 = 998 only 0 and 30 are permitted in p60022.
• p9601 (SI enable functions integrated in the drive (processor 1)): p9601.3 shows whether PROFIsafe is enabled, which decides whether p60022 must or must not contain a PROFIsafe telegram.
• p9501 (SI Motion enable safety functions (processor 1)): p9501.30 = 1 selects the transfer of the F-DIs via PROFIsafe and therefore requires telegram 900 in p60022.
• r9771 (SI common functions (processor 1)): r9771.4 = 1 identifies Control Units that support Extended Functions via PROFIsafe, the condition under which the telegram 900 requirement applies.

Correct the telegram configuration first; the fault is then acknowledged by switching the converter power off and on again (POWER ON), and the drive will not restart until this acknowledgment has been made. The manuals note that this fault does not result in a safety stop response.
