F01513BICO: Interconnection cross DO with different scalings

What it means

F01513 is raised when a requested BICO interconnection is established between two different drive objects whose scalings do not match: the BICO output has different normalized units than the BICO input, or both use the same normalized unit but the reference values of the two drive objects differ. The interconnection is nevertheless established — the drive converts the signal between the BICO output and the BICO input using a factor calculated from the reference values. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be output as an alarm or as a message without reaction.

Why it appears

  • A BICO interconnection between different drive objects in which the BICO output and the BICO input have different normalized units — for example a voltage output connected to a current input. The drive then calculates the factor p2002/p2001 between the output and the input (p2002 contains the reference value for current, p2001 the reference value for voltage).
  • A BICO interconnection between different drive objects in which the output and the input use the same normalized unit but the reference values differ — for example a voltage output in drive object 1 (DO1) connected to a voltage input in drive object 2 (DO2) whose voltage reference values differ. The drive then calculates the factor p2001(DO1)/p2001(DO2).

  1. Read the fault value in r0949 as a decimal number: it contains the parameter number of the BICO input (signal sink) to which the interconnection leads.
  2. No remedial action is necessary: the requested BICO interconnection has been established, and the drive converts the signal between the BICO output and the BICO input using the reference values.
