F01511 — BICO: Interconnection with different scalings

F01511 is raised when a requested BICO interconnection is established between a signal source (BICO output) and a signal sink (BICO input) whose normalized units differ. The drive still makes the interconnection and converts the signal between the two scalings using the reference values. The message appears only for interconnections made within one drive object.

The manual's example: the BICO output carries voltage and the BICO input carries current, so the drive calculates the factor p2002/p2001 between output and input — p2002 holds the reference value for current, p2001 the reference value for voltage.

Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be signalled as an alarm (A).

• A requested BICO interconnection was established, and the drive converts between the BICO output and the BICO input using the reference values.
• The BICO output has different normalized units than the BICO input.
• The message is only issued for interconnections within a drive object.

• p2001 — reference voltage; in the example it is the denominator of the factor p2002/p2001.
• r0949 — fault value; interpreted as a decimal number it gives the parameter number of the BICO input (signal sink) for this message.

The drive takes no automatic action: the interconnection stays established and the signal keeps being converted using the reference values, so no remedy is necessary. The message is acknowledged immediately. When the drive signals the same condition as an alarm (A), no reaction follows and no acknowledgement is required.
