What it means
F01152 is raised by the Control Unit (CU) when the configured constellation of drive object types is not permissible. The drive object types SERVO, VECTOR and HLA cannot be operated simultaneously — a maximum of 2 of these types can be operated on one Control Unit. The fault therefore points at the commissioning/configuration of the drive objects on the CU, not at a hardware component.
Why it appears
- The configuration attempts to operate the drive object types SERVO, VECTOR and HLA simultaneously, which is not possible.
- A Control Unit supports a maximum of 2 of these drive object types at the same time.
What to check
- Switch off the unit.
- Restrict the use of the drive object types SERVO, VECTOR and HLA to a maximum of 2 on this Control Unit — remove or reconfigure drive objects until the constellation is permissible.
- Re-commission the unit.
Acknowledging and restarting
Acknowledgement requires switching the unit off and on again (POWER ON); the fault is not cleared by acknowledging it while the unit is running. The drive takes no automatic action in response to this fault, so it remains present until the configuration has been corrected and the unit has been powered off and on. Proceed as in the checks above: switch the unit off, correct the drive object constellation, re-commission the unit and switch it back on.
What differs between the drive families
Straight from the manuals' own fields — F01152 is not described identically everywhere.

Questions technicians ask
What does fault F01152 mean on a SINAMICS drive?
The Control Unit reports an invalid constellation of drive object types: SERVO, VECTOR and HLA cannot be operated simultaneously. A maximum of 2 of these drive object types may run on one Control Unit.
How do I clear fault F01152?
Switch the unit off, restrict the configured drive object types SERVO, VECTOR and HLA to a maximum of 2, and re-commission the unit. Because acknowledgement is by POWER ON, the fault only goes away when the unit is switched off and on again.
Can SERVO, VECTOR and HLA be combined on one Control Unit?
Not all at the same time. Only a maximum of 2 of these drive object types may be operated simultaneously on one Control Unit; a configuration using more raises F01152.
