A30666 — SI Motion P2: Steady-state (static) 1 signal at the F-DI for safe acknowledgment

A30666 is an SI Motion P2 alarm that concerns the failsafe digital input (F-DI) configured in p10106 for safe acknowledgment. The drive raises it when a logical 1 signal has been present at this F-DI for more than 10 seconds while no safe acknowledgment was performed at that input. In this state a steady-state logical 0 signal must be present at the F-DI, and the alarm reports that the expected level is not there. The steady logical 0 is deliberately demanded so that no unintentional safety-relevant acknowledgment (or the "Internal Event Acknowledge" signal) can occur, for example if a wire breaks or one of the two digital inputs bounces. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be signalled as a fault.

The drive takes no automatic action on this alarm and no acknowledgement is required; returning the F-DI configured in p10106 to a steady logical 0 is the complete remedy the manual gives. The manual's note adds that when the same condition is signalled as a fault, it must be acknowledged immediately.
