What it means

The drive cannot save the measurement results of a multiple trace on the memory card (trace recorder 0). The multiple trace is therefore not started at all or is canceled while it runs. The message value (%1) carries the alarm value, which the drive also writes to r2124 and which identifies the concrete reason for the alarm.

Why it appears

  • The memory card cannot be accessed — the card is not inserted, or access to it is blocked by a mounted USB drive (alarm value 1).
  • The data save operation is too slow — a second trace has completed before the measurement results of the first trace could be saved, or writing the measurement result files to the card is blocked by a parameter save (alarm value 3).
  • The data save operation was canceled — for instance, the file required for the data save operation could not be found (alarm value 4).

What to check

  1. Insert or remove the memory card — the card may be missing, or a mounted USB drive may be blocking access to it.
  2. Use a larger memory card.
  3. Configure a longer trace time or use an endless trace.
  4. Avoid saving parameters while a multiple trace is running.
  5. Check whether other functions are presently accessing the measurement result files.
