F07914 — Flux out of tolerance

F07914 (fault, “Flux out of tolerance”) is raised when the difference between the flux actual value r0084 and the total flux setpoint r1598 exceeds the configured tolerance: abs(r0084 - r1598) > p3204 + p3205. The condition is only turned into a fault after the delay time in p3206 has expired, so brief excursions do not trip the drive; as soon as the deviation falls back below p3204, a pending cause is reset again.

• The difference between the flux actual value r0084 and the total flux setpoint r1598 has exceeded the tolerance: abs(r0084 - r1598) > p3204 + p3205.
• The fault is only issued once the delay time in p3206 has expired; the cause is reset again for abs(r0084 - r1598) < p3204.

1. Check the parameterization of the tolerance values p3204 and p3205.
2. Check the interfaces to the excitation equipment: the excitation current setpoint signal r1626 and the signal source p1640 for the excitation current actual value.
3. Check the excitation equipment itself.
4. Check the flux control, in particular the settings in p1590, p1592 and p1597.
5. Check the control for oscillation and take appropriate countermeasures, for example optimize the speed control loop or parameterize a bandstop filter.

• r0084 — CO: Flux actual value; read it together with r1598 to see how far the flux has actually deviated.
• r1598 — CO: Total flux setpoint; the reference value against which r0084 is compared.
• p3204 — Flux outside the tolerance threshold value; the fault trips above p3204 + p3205 and the cause resets again below p3204, so check this setting first.
• p3205 — Flux outside the tolerance hysteresis; verify it together with p3204 when checking the tolerance parameterization.
• p3206 — Flux outside tolerance delay time; the fault is only issued after this time has expired.
• r1626 — CO: Excitation current setpoint; check this signal when verifying the interface to the excitation equipment.
• p1640 — CI: Excitation current actual value signal source; check this link as part of the excitation-equipment interface check.
• p1590 — Flux controller P gain; check the setting when verifying the flux control.
• p1592 — Flux controller integral time; check the setting together with p1590 when verifying the flux control.

The drive responds to this fault with a coast-down (OFF2). Eliminate the cause first; the fault can then be acknowledged immediately, after which the drive can be restarted. The underlying condition clears by itself once abs(r0084 - r1598) falls below p3204, but the fault message itself still has to be acknowledged.
