F07913Excitation current outside the tolerance range

What it means

F07913 tells you that the excitation current is no longer being held within its tolerated range: the difference between the actual value (r1641) and the setpoint (r1626) has grown larger than the threshold p3201 plus the hysteresis p3202, i.e. abs(r1641 - r1626) > p3201 + p3202. As soon as the deviation falls back below p3201, the underlying condition resets itself in the background — but a fault that has tripped must still be acknowledged before the drive will run again.

Why it appears

  • The excitation current actual value r1641 and the setpoint r1626 have drifted apart beyond the tolerated band: abs(r1641 - r1626) > p3201 + p3202.
  • The fault condition is considered cleared again as soon as abs(r1641 - r1626) drops below p3201.

What to check

  1. Check the parameterization this monitoring works with: p1640 (signal source of the excitation current actual value), p3201 (tolerance threshold) and p3202 (hysteresis).
  2. Check the interfaces to the excitation equipment — the setpoint at r1626 and the actual-value path configured in p1640.
  3. Check the excitation equipment itself.

Parameters the manual names

  • r1641 — excitation current actual value: shows what the drive currently measures, for comparison against the setpoint.
  • r1626 — CO: excitation current setpoint: the value the excitation current should reach; compare it with r1641 while the fault is present.

Acknowledging and restarting

The drive coasts down (OFF2) when this fault trips. Acknowledge it immediately; the drive can then be restarted. Note that the monitored deviation already clears itself once abs(r1641 - r1626) is below p3201 — acknowledging removes the latched fault message from the drive.
