What it means

F07824 is raised when the freely parameterizable I2t monitoring exceeds its fault threshold, which is fixed at 100 %. This monitoring continuously integrates a thermal utilization value taken from the signal source configured in p3240; when the integrator reaches the fault threshold, the drive raises the fault. While the threshold is exceeded, status bit r2199.14 = 1, and the current integrator value can be read at any time in r3244.

Why it appears

  • The fault threshold (100 %) of the freely parameterizable I2t monitoring was exceeded, i.e. the I2t integrator (r3244) has run up to its limit.
  • Because the monitoring is freely parameterizable, how quickly the threshold is reached depends on the received input value (p3240) and on the monitoring settings p3241, p3242 and p3243.

What to check

  1. Check the input value the monitoring receives; the signal source is set in p3240.
  2. If required, reduce the load.
  3. Check the parameterization of the monitoring: p3241 (Permissible I2t continuous value), p3242 (I2t maximum duration) and p3243 (I2t alarm threshold). While doing this, r3244 (Actual I2t integrator value) lets you follow how the integrator value behaves.

Remove or reduce the cause first, then watch r3244 to see when the message resets.
